Mobile windscreen replacement vs a fitment centre

Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban already have fitment chains. The harder problem is a bakkie in a town, a car at work, or a machine that cannot drive to a workshop. Mobile replacement is built for that.

The vehicle stays where it is

A damaged windscreen is already a disruption. Adding a lift, a waiting room and a half-day in traffic does not make the glass safer. Mobile replacement is done at a suitable home driveway, office park or site — provided there is space, a reasonably level standing and access for the agreed period.

Towns the chains underserve

The point is not only Sandton. It is Upington, a depot 20 km outside town, and every other place where the nearest branded fitment centre is a long drive with a cracked screen. Tell us the town. We confirm technician and glass before we travel. That is still nationwide service — it is not a same-hour promise for every pin on the map.

Seven days a week

Replacement appointments can be arranged seven days a week, subject to the location and the glass required. Weekends matter when the vehicle is a work bakkie or the only car in the household.

What you send first

A photo of the damage, the year/make/model, and where the vehicle will be standing. That is enough to start a useful replacement quote. Cameras, sensors and site access notes help the visit go once, not twice.

When a workshop still makes sense

Some jobs need a controlled indoor bay, unusual glass, or extra procedures after replacement. If that applies, it should be said before anyone travels. Honesty about the location beats a marketing line that every screen can be fitted in any driveway in any weather.
